Iceland volcano : Northern Europe airports closed
European airports are still closed on the beginning of week, because of the weakness of the wind to carry away the ash launched by the Iceland volcano.

The origin of flights cancellations
Due to a volcano eruption in Iceland which spread a gigantic cloud of ashes, several airports are closed right now. Flight toward Belgium, United Kingdom, Germany, Holland… are canceled for an undetermined duration from this day of Friday April, 16 2010.
Why is the ash dangerous ?
The cloud of ash hinder the visibility in the sky in the northern Europe area. Furthermore, it can cause damage to jet engine, make them stop.
